Dita Von Teese: Small Town Dreamer to Burlesque Icon

Burlesque is having a huge resurgence of late and today’s incredible guest, Dita Von Teese, is leading the charge!  In this episode we step into Dita’s  glamour soaked world and find out how this small town Michigan girl once called Heather Renee Sweet made her way from her local ballet school to the Jubilee Theater and a Vegas show adorned with her name.

She takes us on a journey from strip clubs and fetish modeling to the burlesque spotlight.  She talks vintage fashion and why we never catch her on the “celebs are just like us” page.  Dita proudly opens up about her current show, A Jubilant Revue, and how she has a hand in every detail and decision, down to its inclusive and diverse casting.  We even get some fun behind the scenes scoop on what it was like working with Taylor Swift and Harry Styles last year.   Take a listen and get to know the woman behind the most famous martini glass!
